Michael cares about all of the details too—arriving early to set up, coordinating with the site planner and caterer, dressing appropriately, performing a variety of music to please his audience and performing at a volume appropriate to the venue. Whether it’s a board dinner for ExxonMobil executives, a reception by GlaxoSmithKline launching a new product, an awards ceremony for the National Science Foundation, an employee appreciation luncheon by Hosts Hotels & Resorts or a holiday party for the Airline Pilots Association, Michael’s music provides an elegant and intimate ambiance for every event. Weddings
Michael has performed his guitar music for hundreds of weddings throughout the Washington metropolitan area.
Michael’s variety of music, including classical, jazz and contemporary selections sets an elegant tone for an indoor or outdoor wedding ceremony, cocktail reception or even a rehearsal dinner. Using his sound system to extend the sound of his guitar, Michael’s music creates a very pleasant ambiance but also allows guests to enjoy their conversation.
A traditional wedding ceremony includes:
- Prelude music – which is generally 15-30 minutes of music as guests arrive (generally Renaissance, Baroque and Spanish Classical selections work well).
- The Processional piece for the bridesmaids
- The Processional piece for the bride
- The Recessional piece
- A selection of music during the candle lighting or meditation, if requested.
Michael can also provide a wireless microphone and even connect your iPod or CD player to his sound system! He can make announcements if requested, let you use the microphone for toasts and operate the iPod for any dancing that you might request. Michael makes every effort to accommodate any special music requests and makes his CD’s available as wedding gifts too.
